Dutch offshore engineers Ampelmann have been bringing the house down at safety briefings – thanks to a bizarre Scottish-themed musical training film.
The eight-minute long film, largely filmed in one continuous shot around the company’s production facility, has proved a hit among offshore workers.
The offbeat video, featuring cameos from Spider-man, bagpipe players and a James Bond lookalike who lives in a luxury shipping container, took its theme from the acronym Safety instructions Construction Terminal at its production facility in Rotterdam.
Workers at the firm, which produces walk-to-work gantries and platforms to allow workers to transfer to and from facilities offshore, dressed in kilts and Braveheart make-up to join in the elaborate video.
