DNV GL has won the Risk Management Consultancy of the Year award at this year Global Risk Awards.
The company, which this year celebrates its 150 anniversary, was recognised for the diversity of services provided to a range of industries, including energy projects such as researching Arctic risks for oil and gas exploration and production, managing the future supply of energy, and healthcare research to promote patient safety.
Nearly 400 participants attended the awards ceremony at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London on Thursday 27 February.
“DNV GL have shown themselves to be creative and innovative in the way they go about delivering their business to customers,” said Jeremy Harrison, chief executive of the Institute of Risk Management.
“It is impressive companies such as DNV GL that are helping to build the reputation of the risk management profession and I am delighted they have been awarded 2014’s risk management consultancy of the year.”
