International oilfield services firm Expro has launched a new health initiative at its Aberdeen office to help improve staff wellbeing.
The company has set up a partnership with local health firm Food For Fitness looking to address the hot topic of obesity among the oil and gas workforce.
The partnership allows Expro staff to participate in individual sessions with an expert on nutrition and fitness, as well as seminars on a range of topics, including sports nutrition, weight loss strategies that work and quick and easy exercise options.
“We’re delighted to be working with Expro on this new project which is a fantastic opportunity to support its workers on how they can make simple changes to the food they eat, to not only improve their physique but their entire lifestyle,” said Scott Baptie, director of Food For Fitness.
“We’ll be busting the many myths and misconceptions there are about food, and helping them to make getting into shape sociable and enjoyable.”
