The problem of growing waistlines among the offshore workforce was the key focus of an inaugural seminar at the Aberdeen Clinic.
The first event at the Aberdeen Suttie Centre, organised to celebrate the opening of the new clinic, gathered academics, medics, dieticians and oil and gas representatives to discuss possible solutions to the population-wide problem of obesity in Scotland.
Andrew Mackay and Kenneth Park, directors of the new clinic, explain their vision for the centre’s role in tackling the issue.
