The Iranian Oil Minister has said Tehran would be ready to negotiate with Saudi Arabia over the current conditions facing the global market.
According to reports from Iran’s Press TV, Bijan Zangeneh said his government would support “any form of dialogue” and cooperation with OPEC member states, including Saudi Arabia.
It comes on the same day the boss of Rosneft called for a coordinated output cut by major oil-producing countries to prop up sagging prices.
Chief executive Igor Sechin did not expand on whether Moscow would contribute to such a plan.
