The company said the payment comprises monthly contractual revenue under the production sharing contract for Shaikan, plus payments owed from past deliveries.
Gulf Ketstone said its current cash position is $69.5 million.
Genel Energy also reported receiving payment from the KRG, with the Tawke field partners receiving a gross payment of $16.87 million for March crude oil deliveries to export and local markets from Tawke under the payment arrangement announced earlier in 2016.
An additional $3.24 million gross payment has been made towards the recovery of outstanding entitlements for past deliveries.
