Wood Group has won a $500million contract with BP operated projects offshore Azerbaijan creating 200 new positions.
The company said Wood Group PSN (WGPSN) would provide engineering, procurement and construction management services under the deal.
A number of positions will be created on platforms including Chrirag and Central Azeri.

“This is reflected on this contract where more than 50 per cent of the workforce will be from the region with a focus on increasing local employment opportunities further, as the contract progresses.”
