Gulf Keystone Petroleum (GKP) said today that it had banked a £9.5million payment from Kurdistan.
London-listed GKP said the Kurdistan Regional Government was paying for crude export sales from the Shaikan field.
A week ago the firm said it had narrowed its pre-tax losses to $17million in 2016 against a deficit of $213million the previous year.
Bermuda-headquartered GKP’s cash balance at April 5, 2017, was $112.7million.
