Iraq and Baker Hughes have signed a contract for infrastructure to assist with the recovery of flare gas.
Baker Hughes, a GE company, will develop advanced solutions for flare gas at the Nassiriya and Al Gharraf oilfields, using modular gas processing technology.
The project will create direct and indirect jobs for Iraqis and support power plants with dry gas for efficient power generation.
