Red Rooster Lifting (RRL) has predicted a boost to sales after teaming up with a Middle East partner.
It is targeting new business in the region after partnering up with Sharjah-based Motive FZE, part of Boyndie-based Motive Offshore Group.
RRL, of Oldmeldrum, Aberdeenshire, said it was budgeting for sales and rentals of £250,000 in the first year on the back of the deal, with this growing in years two and three as more customers turn to the industrial lifting specialist for pneumatic hoists.
Motive, focused on the manufacture, rental and inspection of equipment to the oil and gas and marine industries, will provide sales and marketing support.
RRL managing director Bill Aitken said: “Motive FZE is the ideal partner to support our existing customers, and new exploration and production as well as other sectors of the energy industry. This partnership is an important part of Red Rooster’s long-term growth strategy.
“With a range of rental hoists based in-country and easier access to the extensive range of equipment in the Red Rooster rental fleet, it will offer a service not currently available in this area.”
Motive FZE director Eddie Moore added: “Motive FZE and Red Rooster Lifting share a history of working together on several projects, and by joining forces our two companies can strengthen the offering to our respective client bases.
“Our new partnership will open up real opportunities for clients across the region,” added Mr Moore.
