
A North Sea platform has been down manned after a power outage.
Talisman Sinopec Energy UK said an investigation is now underway following the incident on the Clyde platform.
A spokesman said:”We initiated a precautionary downman of non-essential personnel from the Clyde platform following loss of power at approximately 3pm on Tuesday 16th February.
“An investigation is underway and work is being carried out to re-establish power.”
A total of 178 personnel were on board when the incident happened, with 75 workers remaining on the platform.
The platform is 175 miles from Aberdeen.
