
Scottish independent exploration firm Faroe Petroleum has been granted a drilling permit from Norwegian authorities for North Sea wildcat well.
The well, 31/07-01 will be drilled from the Transocean Arctic drilling facility in production licence 740.
Faroeis operator and owns 50% with Core Energy taking the other half.
The well be the first drilled in production licence 740, which was awarded in 2014.
