Oil major Shell is continuing with its temporary suspension of all CHC passenger flights for its North Sea operations in Norway.
The company took the decision in the wake of a crash which killed 13 offshore workers as they made a return flight from Statoil’s Gullfaks B platform to Bergen last month.
The suspension has now moved into its twentieth day with alternative flights currently being provided by Bristow Helicopters.
A spokesman confirmed no changes had yet been made to resume flights with the helicopter operator.
The company said earlier this month the move would affect its Draugen and Knarr fields.
Shell had previously said it was “too early” to say how long the suspension would stay in place.
Earlier today, Shell also confirmed it would be making 2,200 job cuts globally – including 475 positions from its North Sea operations.
