A CHC-operated helicopter was forced to land on a North Sea installation after a cockpit light illuminated during the flight.
The incident happened earlier today on Friday morning with 14 passengers and two crew on board.
It is understood the Sikorsky-S92 flight landed on the BP-operated Ula platform.
A CHC spokeswoman said: “An aircraft safely returned to an offshore installation in Norway this morning, after a cockpit light illuminated during the flight. Our crew followed standard procedure and requested a priority landing. The aircraft made an uneventful landing and will now be thoroughly inspected by our engineers before returning to service.”
