Wintershall has been hit with a number of improvement points after an audit was carried out on the Brage oil field.
The Norwegian Petroleum Safety Authority (PSA) said the objective of the audit was to inspect how the company was complying with regulations relating to working in and operating electrical
installations.
The safety body said five non-conformities were identified including technical conditions, emergency lighting and maintenance management.
Meanwhile, improvement points were also identified including temporary equipment, heating cable installations and non-conformity handling.
Wintershall has been given a deadline of June 22nd to report on how the non-conformities and improvement points will be dealt with.
