Thousands of Norwegian offshore workers have said they fear cuts amid the decline in oil price have led to a negative impact on helicopter transport.
More than 50% of those who had flown in a helicopter at least one said saving measures in the past year have had a negative impact on travel.
The findings come as a study was carried out between newspaper Bergens Tidende and trade union Industri Energi.
Union boss Roy Erling Furre said it was “hard to imagine” changes to spending would not affect safety.
