Statoil has been given a number of improvement points on safety on safety equipment at Veslefrikk.
The Norwegian Petroleum Safety Authority (PSA) said the objective of the audit was to verify that integrity and barrier management for flexible risers and jumpers and associated equipment such as ESD and pressure relief equipment complied with the company’s own requirements and statutory regulations.
The body said no non-conformities were identified but improvement points were identified in connection with the governing documents and materials requirements.
Statoil has been given a deadline of August 31st this year to report on how the improvement points will be dealt with.
