More than 100 people have signed up for a tour round some of Norway’s most famous oil fields.
In June, Edda Accommodation revealed it had created Edda Adventures, which will offer trips on one of its flotels for up to 500 passengers.
The vessel’s hotel manager Bjor Erik Julseth said the company had been surprised by the interest after receiving “very positive” responses.
The majority of passengers are expected to be from Norway but the firm said it had also had a good response internationally.
The ship is usually let out for the oil industry but a decline in business has led to it being offered up for alternative use.
On the first trips guests will be able to see the Johan Sverdrup field, Troll A, Troll C and Oseberg.
On the next trip visitors will be able to view Draugen, Kristin, Aasgard, Heidrun, Norne and Skarv.
