Maersk Drilling said it will cut 122 jobs in Norway after a contract was terminated early for a deepwater rig.
The company said last week it had signed a deal with ConocoPhillips and Marathon Oil to end the contract for the rig from the middle of September.
The rig firm had previously announced in July it would be reducing its headcount by up to 140 jobs in Norway as a result of less work for two other rigs.
