Oil major BP could soon resume drilling on its Valhall injection platform after a break was introduced last year.
The company said the lower oil price had influenced the decision to take the brief hiatus.
However, operations will now resume with Archer as operator.
The plan is said to be to begin work for drilling in January with the potential for spudding in March or April of next year.
