RockRose Energy has snapped three of Maersk Oil’s UK North Sea interests.
The firm suspended trading yesterday before confirming it had taken over Maersk’s non-operated 7.4% interest in the Wytch Farm field, a 5.2% interest in the Scott fields and a 2.4% interest in the Telford field.
The transaction is RoseRose Energy’s first deal since it entered the London Stock Exchange in January.
The trio’s total production is 2,000 barrels per day.
The deal comes as Enquest failed agree a farmout for its Kraken development.
