The combined £3.5million contract for the the provision of hotel and catering services, operated from the North Sea, will see ESS Offshore station over 80 staff across both vessels.
Graham Singer, ESS food operation manager, said:“We are very excited to be taking care of both catering and hotel services on the Maersk Highlander drilling rig, as well as the accommodation vessels. There are always challenges to overcome on such large vessels, however, we relish the opportunity.
“The strenuous work undertaken by offshore workers ensures our food offer has to be extremely nutritious while also being of good quality and taste. We are able to keep producing this high standard of service as a result of the hard work and experience of the ESS offshore teams.”
