ExxonMobil is said to be considering the sale of its Norwegian assets.
The potential move has been reported in Norwegian media, but the company has said it will not comment on “such speculation” regarding its operations.
ExxonMobil is one of the largest producers of oil and gas on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
It has stakes in more than 20 oil and gas producing fields.
The company operates the Balder, Ringhorne and Sigyn fields.
