Parker Maritime has signed a general agreement with Statoil for the delivery of third-party verification and dimensional control on the Johan Sverdrup project.
The contract is already in force and valid for five years with an option for a two year extension.
The agreement can also be used on other Statoil projects.
Pal Otto Brouwer, business unit manager for Parker Maritime, said the contract comes at an “important” time amid the challenging market place.
Brouwer said the firm had been focusing on “continued improvement” to become more effective against a market which is “very cost-focused”.
