IKM Cleandrill has signed a three-year framework agreement with Aker BP for top hole drilling fluid return (MRR) services.
The first operations under the current framework agreement will be in connection with production drilling on the Alvheim field with the Transocean Arctic.
There is also potential for the technology to be used on several exploration wells during the contract period.
IKM have won a number of contracts in recent months including with both Shell and Statoil.
