Shell’s chief financial officer Simon Henry has sold shares in the oil major worth £1million.
Mr Henry, who took up the role in 2009, received a total pay packet worth £3.17million in 2015.
The Cambridge University mathematics graduate joined Shell as an engineer at its Stanlow refinery in 1982.
The value of Shell’s shares have risen almost 30% in the last 12 months.
Mr Henry sold 50,000 Shell ‘B’ shares at 2,163.00 pence each on Friday. His total shareholding was not disclosed.
