A job fair will be held in Aberdeen later this month to help redundant oil workers seek out new employment opportunities.
Training organisations and employers from a range of sectors will be on hand to provide advice for workers at the event on March 29 at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre.
It is one of a series of events to have been organised by the Scottish Government’s Partnership Action for Continuing Employment (PACE) initiative.
Calum MacLean, national PACE Manager said: “The events have been greatly valued by employers and motivated job seekers. The profile of individuals attending reflects a broad skill set not only in engineering but in other roles such as finance, IT, marketing and admin.
“I would encourage any employers in the north east want to connect with motivated individuals with a range of skills to sign up for the free event.
“I look forward to another successful event, matching up enthusiastic individuals to jobs and careers that will utilise and develop their ambition and skills.”
