Statoil has been given a generally clear bill of health for two mobile production facilities based on the Haltenbanken field in the Norwegian North Sea.
The field development, around 200 kilometres from the Trøndelag coast, consists of the Åsgard A and B, along with the storage facility Åsgard C.
Production from Åsgard A began in 1999, while Åsgard B and C came on stream in 2000.
No regulatory non-conformities were identified during a recent audit.
However, improvement points were detected relating to analyses of the consequences of waves hitting the deck and the traceability of history from design phase to operational phase.
Statoil has until April 15 to report back.
