Aberdeen based energy storage specialists Norco has been awarded a contract with Total to carry out servicing work on the French major’s offshore and onshore assets.
The group will do the testing for UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) and standby battery equipment.
The work will include providing support to the Alwyn / Dunbar Area, Elgin and Franklin Fields and the Shetland Gas Plant.
Finbar Kelly, Norco’s commercial and contracts manager, said: “We’re delighted to have been chosen to provide essential support to such iconic assets as these.
“We’re looking forward to working closely with Total E&P UK and further establishing ourselves as a preferred service provider to the Petrochemical industry and beyond.”
