Germany’s DEA has made a bid for DONG’s North Sea oil and gas assets, according to Norwegian media.
Dong’s assets are up for sale, with sources claiming that DEA has made a “high bid” for them.
DEA is owned by LetterOne, which is controlled by Russian billionaire Mikhail Fridman and his partners
If true, the new bid puts pressure on Denmark’s A.P. Moller-Maersk, which has also been seen as a potential buyer for Dong’s assets.
