Aircon Scotland has secured a deal to carry out part of fitting-out work for the new Granite City offices of North Sea newcomer Chrysaor.
Air conditioning specialist Aircon Scotland is part of Aberdeen-based Chess Group. Its Chrysaor deal is believed to be worth about £400,000.
The work includes air conditioning, ventilation, sprinkler system, gas suppression and commissioning services, as well as new showers and communication room supplies. Chrysaor revealed in
April it was setting up an operations base in the Capitol building in Union Street.
Aircon Scotland installed air conditioning and ventilation system during the complex’s £30million redevelopment.
Managing director Ian Nicol said: “We’re delighted to win the contract for the mechanical services as part of the main (Chrysaor) fit-out. It’s great to be keeping this large-scale project local. Having conducted the main air-conditioning works for the Capitol, we know the building’s system – allowing us to efficiently and effectively carry out the mechanical works required for Chrysaor’s new office space, and ensuring the company can move into its new accommodation as soon as required.”
