Norwegian firm Apply Sorco has won a contract from Statoil for work at its Mariner B floating storage unit.
The contract will run for two years with two optional one year extensions.
The scope of the project will include development of system descriptions and operational procedures.
Optional work includes development of training material, including system classroom courses, e-learnning courses and on the job training.
The project will start in August and will continue until next summer.
Apply Sorco is an international multi discipline engineering company headquartered in Stavanger.
The company has an ongoing framework agreement with Statoil and has developed training material for several of the oil firm’s new North Sea installations in the last decade.
The Mariner B will be receiving, storing and offloading the oil produced at the Statoil operated Mariner field.
