OMV Norway has been given permission to drill in the Haes and Iris prospect in the Norwegian North Sea.
Drilling is scheduled to start early December 1 and will last around 142 days, depending on the findings.
The well will be drilled with the portable drilling facility Deepsea Bergen.
Deepsea Bergen is a semi submersible, removable drilling rig of the type Aker H-3.2, built at Aker Verdal in 1983.
