Andrew Hay has stepped down from the board of Independent Oil and Gas with immediate effect.
The company said it was well advanced in seeking a new independent non-executive director to join the board.
Chief executive Mark Routh said: “On behalf of IOG I thank Andrew for his service since joining us in July 2016 and I wish him well in his future endeavours.
“We look forward to announcing very shortly the appointment of a new independent Non-Executive Director.”
