Aberdeenshire-based ROV specialist M² Subsea has appointed a new global sales and marketing director as it looks to drive international expansion.
Andrew Imrie has over 20 years experience in the oil an gas sector, joining the firm from oil exploration service firm Ampelmann, where he was a Netherlands-based commercial director.
He’s previously held positions with companies including Proserv, Amec and National Oilwell Varco.
In his new role, Mr Imrie will be responsible for helping drive M² Subsea’s international sales in areas including the UK, US, Middle East and Asia.
Mr Imrie said: “This is a hugely exciting time to be joining a company which has such an ambitious global strategy.
“M² Subsea has achieved a lot in a very short space of time and has worked hard to position itself as the industry leading provider of ROV project management and engineering services worldwide.
“I look forward to working closely with the team to maximise the opportunities in the offshore market, both at home and overseas.”
M² Subsea is one of the largest independent providers of underwater ROVs.
A well as having a site in Westhill, where Mr Imrie will be based, the firm also operates out of Houston.
