Aker BP wildcat well comes up dry

Aker BP has drilled a dry well near the Knarr field in the Norwegian North Sea. Wildcat well 34/2-5 S was drilled on production licence 790, which was awarded in 2014. The Transocean Arctic rig encountered no traces of oil at the Lynghaug well.
Aker BP has drilled a dry well near the Knarr field in the Norwegian North Sea.

Wildcat well 34/2-5 S was drilled on production licence 790, which was awarded in 2014.

The well has been permanently plugged and abandoned by the Transocean Arctic rig.
