The finalists have been announced for the inaugural Decommissioning Awards.
Industry body Decom North Sea is organising the event, which will be held in Aberdeen later this month.
BiSN and Power Towers are in the running for the Outstanding Innovation Award, while NS Decom, PDi and Veolia-Peterson will contract the Excellence in Collaboration category.
The winners will be announced during the event on May 22.
Interim chief executive of Decom North Sea, Tom Leeson, said: “: “As the only membership organisation dedicated to decommissioning, it is a pleasure to highlight the pioneering work performed in the sector through the first Decom North Sea Awards. The quality of the award entries we received is testament to this, with some fantastic examples of true innovation and hard work.
“For Decom North Sea, these awards are a brilliant way to transfer our learnings within the sector across the global oil and gas industry, as well as celebrating the efforts of our members. I would like to congratulate all those who have been shortlisted for the 2018 awards, and we look forward to celebrating the winners at the ceremony later this month.”
