Safety specialist Survitec has secured a contract to upgrade 12 lifeboats on Total E&P UK’’s Alwyn North Platform.
The company, which has offices in Aberdeen, will fully pverhaul ten of those vessels and provide a new release hook system.
Survitec will also transfer the lifeboats to and from the asset.
The value of the contract has not been disclosed.
The project is set to be delivered by 1st July 2019.
