Premier Oil has released a video tracking the three-year journey of its Catcher floating production, storage and offloading vessel (FPSO), from approval to eventual production in the North Sea.
The footage chronicles the early stages of project including initial drilling activities.
It also shows the various stages of construction of the FPSO, from the hull being transported and arriving at a Singapore shipyard to the final heavy lift of the helideck.
The video then shows the FPSO’s arrival in the North Sea.
Catcher started production in December and last week Premier announced it has reached production levels of 60,000 barrels per day.
The flagship project lies around 108 miles off the coast of Aberdeen.
