Bibby Offshore has secured a multimillion pound contract for inspection, maintenance and repair services in the North Sea.
The Aberdeen-based firm did not disclose who the work was with, but said it is a leading oil and gas production company.
The bulk of the two-phase work will be carried out by Bibby’s diving support vessel Bibby Topaz.
Engineering work for this project has started, with the initial offshore phase due to commence in Q2 this year and a further campaign scheduled for Q3.
Chief executive Howard Woodcock said: ““Our experienced, skilled team has worked closely on these assets previously, successfully completing IRM activities through a 365 contract.
“This type of IRM service is at the core of our business and always receives close attention to ensure we deliver a high level of service for our clients.”
