Valve supplier and manufacturer PJ Valves yesterday announced contract wins worth £2.6 million in the North Sea and Malaysia.
The company will supply valves for floating, production, storage and offloading vessels for unspecified clients.
As part of the North Sea contract the company will manufacture more than 150 forged steel gate, globe and check valves, in addition to ball valves, from its facilities in Italy.
The Malaysian contract means the manufacture and delivery of 2,000 ball valves, both manual and pneumatically actuated.
Tom Nesbitt, business development manager, said: “These contract wins are testament to the quality of our products, unrivalled project expertise and understanding of the international energy market. Furthermore, our experience in managing material and inspection requirements will allow us to provide a swift and professional service for both projects.”
