Aberdeen South Harbour’s modular design allows the segregation of working quays into independent, dedicated zones, allowing customers to define the size of the working area they require, and ‘lock-down’ their activities in a physical and regulatory sense.
Matt North, Commercial Director at Aberdeen Harbour Board, said: “We believe that South Harbour will be the first harbour in the U.K. that can be segregated in such a comprehensive way across the whole facility. The flexibility and control that this will provide for our customers will be significant, making the planning, execution and cost control of their work considerably easier.
