Odfjell Drilling will take on more than 200 employees to support the growth of its Norwegian North Sea business.
The company is adding two new semi-submersible rigs to its fleet in the Norwegian Continental Shelf this year.
Deepsea Nordkapp is on its way to the North Sea from Samsung in South Korea and is expected to start operations for Aker BP in the second quarter of this year.
Beacon Atlantic is currently at the CIMC Raffles yard in Yantai, China completing final commissioning and sea trials.
It should leave the yard in early June and arrive in Norway three months later. Drilling operations for Neptune Energy Norway will commence in Q4, 2019.
