Oil and Gas UK has appointed three new members to its taskforce to improve efficiency and collaboration in the North Sea.
Steve Cox, non-operated ventures director at Chrysaor, Romain Chambault, director of oilfield equipment at Baker Hughes, a GE Company and Colin Black, managing director of Carjon-NRG have all been recently appointed.
The group was established three years ago and is aimed at delivering the industry’s “Vision 2035”, to maximising oil recovery from the region and boost opportunities for the supply chain.
Mariesha Jaffray, Oil & Gas UK’s continuous improvement manager, said:“We are delighted to welcome Romain, Steve and Colin to the ETF steering group and know that they will each provide valuable insight and contribute to what we are trying to achieve long-term.
“The ETF acts as a catalyst bringing industry together under the common goal of improving efficiency and increasing the global competitiveness of the UKCS, by changing behaviour and communicating best practice across the sector.
“The key to our success is strong leadership from the steering group, together with support from Oil & Gas UK board members and industry efficiency champions who are engaged in ongoing activities.”
