Two charities have been handed more than £6,000 following a year-long fundraising campaign by energy workers.
Employees at Marathon Oil organised a raft of special events over 2018 in honour of the RNLI and Macmillan Cancer Support.
These included a bike challenge, bake sales, quiz night and a “virtual walk” around the UK coastline.
Marathon Oil bosses also contributed to the cause, bringing the total raised to £6,114.57.
Madeleine Gillan, the local fundraising manager for Macmillan, said: “Marathon Oil has been fantastic to work with this past year and we can’t thank them enough for all their efforts.
“The money they’ve raised will help us to be right there with people affected by cancer in Aberdeen.”
