Oilfield services firm Petrofac has announced the award of two North Sea contract extensions totalling more than £25 million.
The Aberdeen-based firm has secured a 12-month renewal deal with French oil and gas giant Total on its Alwyn and Dunbar platforms.
It has also been awarded a further 12-month extension contract with an unknown company operating in the Central North Sea.
The deal with Total is for the supply of Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support to its two North Sea assets.
Petrofac has held this contract for 14 years.
The deal with the unknown operator will see the service firm provide O&M to one North Sea asset.
Both contracts will be managed from Petrofac’s Aberdeen 24-hour Operations Hub.
Petrofac currently supports 45 assets in the North Sea.
