UAE-headquartered Unique Group has expanded its Aberdeen base by 50% as part of a multi-million pound investment programme.
The firm, which acquired North Sea firm Water Weights last year, said the move showcases its commitment to growth in the UK and Europe.
Meanwhile it has also expanded its facility at Werkendam in the Netherlands which produces self-propelled hyperbaric lifeboats.
Regional vice president for UK and Europe, Matthew Gordon, said: “The multi-million pound investment in our assets, technology, people and facilities is a clear reflection of market demand for our products and services, as well as our own confidence in – and commitment to – the offshore energy market of the North Sea and beyond.
“We have seen a growing requirement for our technical capabilities and services in the Scandinavian region, which is another key focus area for us.”
