Subsea systems technology specialist Interventek, of Aberdeen, has moved its fast-growing team into new, larger facilities at ABZ Business Park in Dyce.
The relocation from premises on Wellheads Crescent coincides with a run of contract success, including the firm recently being awarded a multi-million-pound contract to supply equipment to an international client.
Interventek said new business wins secured over the past year were worth more than £10 million.
The company employs 25 people and expects the figure to increase to 30 by the summer.
Its headcount 12 months ago totalled 13 but by March last year it had jumped to 17 amid growing demand for the firm’s Revolution valve technology.
Relocation has given Interventek about 20,000sq ft of office and workshop accommodation, plus additional yard space, effectively tripling its footprint and dramatically increasing capacity.
Managing director Gavin Cowie said: “We are excited about what is to come in future, with a forecast increase in product manufacture and supply plus further technology development in the pipeline.”
