Equinor has release dramatic footage of a mock helicopter rescue operation at an offshore platform in the North Sea.
The video shows nine employees, clad in survival suits, floating near the Johan Sverdrup installation in Norway for a man overboard training exercise.
It goes on to show a search and rescue helicopter retrieving each Equinor worker in a winch operation and taking them to safety.
Equinor released the helicopter recue footage on social media.
It said: “We recently carried out a joint training between our search and rescue helicopter (SAR) and man overboard (MOB) boat crew at the Johan Sverdrup field in the North Sea.
“Nine lucky employees were chosen from the volunteers to participate in glorious weather and made a memory they won’t soon forget.”
Johan Sverdrup achieved first oil last year and lies around 96miles west of Karmoy in Norway.
