North Sea oil firm Ithaca Energy said today it was adding another member of the Repsol Sinopec Resources UK (RSRUK) senior management team to its own ranks.
Aberdeen-headquartered Ithaca, owned by Israeli firm Delek Group, has appointed David Crawford as its chief financial officer.
He is taking over the role from his predecessor Graham Forbes, who will be leaving Ithaca, effective February 1.
Mr Crawford has more than 34 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, including in excess of 15 years in a CFO role.
For the last three years, he has been the CFO of RSRUK, another Granite City based North Sea focused exploration and production firm.
Prior to his stint at RSRUK, Mr Crawford was the CFO at Dana Petroleum and Dolphin Drilling.
He also occupied financial roles at Total E&P UK and Occidental Petroleum.
Ithaca’s current chief executive, Bill Dunnett, was at the helm of RSRUK for five years before leaving that business at the end of March 2020.
Last month, former Ithaca CEO Les Thomas went in the other direction, joining RSRUK as a director.
